My shoes took me hiking to the beach! Me and my girl Erica (and her dog, Fatty Patty) on the beach along Stoney Creek in scenic Kennerdell, PA on Memorial Weekend. Good friends, cold beer, massive sunburn.....
Our shoes are taking us through West Hollywood up to Sunset over to Hollywood and Highland and back down to West Hollywood to march in the parade to protest Prop 8.
My Clarks took me paddle-boating by the Jefferson monument over Memorial Day Weekend. Prior to that, they visited Lauriol Plaza for some tasty Mexican food and margaritas. Classic and unassuming - of all my flops, they're a nice combo of "comfort meets prep".
These converse have proven to be my faithful friends at dance rehearsal, while I'm walking around town, they even keep me casually comfy and cool as I work from my clients office today in Santa Monica. Even though they're an oldie (circa 1917), they're most certainly a timeless goody that will always be in style regardless of wether your on the left or right coast. From NYC to DC to Miami and back to LA, I can always count on my chucks!
My Banana Republic shoes are taking me to meet a cute guy for coffee... and they're not telling him that I had just returned from Starbucks when he called. I'll drink that later.
